Solid Waste Management

With the emerging concern on large quantity of the solid waste being produced, the concept of rural solid waste management becomes one of the key foci of rural sustainable development principles which is based on policies and practices of global sustainable development goals (SDGs).

As the waste is disposed in an uncontrolled manner there is a concern that it will cause a great adverse impact on public health and environment. Hence the solid waste needs to be managed efficiently so as to safeguard public health and environment.

Our efforts are to continually design, develop, implement and evaluate small scale integrated waste management projects for new learning that will enhance community and nature health and well-being.
